Our Mission

Roots function as an anchor, to help support and ground plants.  They also serve as a means for plants to get the nutrients and water they need to survive.  It was in considering a root’s function that the founders of Wild Roots decided on its name.  We want our organization to serve as our members’ roots, a foundation for helping them fulfill their needs and connecting different aspects of life: educational, spiritual, social, and physical.  To that end, we created Wild Roots, a Private Membership Association that strives to be a foundational support system for our members, connecting the many different aspects of our lives. We strive to help integrate some of our most primal needs for survival that make us whole through education, spirituality, socialization, a natural lifestyle, and  self-care.  We want to be the root system for our members, giving them security and stability, while allowing them to grow independently, freely, and wildly.  Wild Roots: Reaping What We Sow!

Meet Our Trustees

As three moms affected by the repeal of the religious exemption in NY in 2019, we came together for ourselves, our children, and our community to create a loving and enriching environment that would allow our children to strive academically, socially, physically, and emotionally.  From the very beginning, our focus has always been on our children and giving them the opportunties they deserve.  We are now able to expand those opportunities to others in our community who need support.  These kids are our why.
